STORY
There doesn’t need to be a lot happening for something to be beautiful.
From above Roebuck Bay, water moves almost imperceptibly across the sand, leaving behind soft lines, changing colours and delicate traces of where it has been. The landscape appears still, yet it is constantly transforming. Perhaps that is what draws me to this image. We often associate change with action, decisions and visible progress, but some of the most important transformation happens quietly. Beneath the surface. Slowly enough that we may not recognise it until we look back.
Aren’t we all drawn to the peace of the ocean?
Stillness reminds me that being still does not mean we have stopped moving forward. Sometimes it is simply where change begins.
