STORY
King George Falls, located in the remote Kimberley region of Northern Territory, is Australia’s highest twin waterfall and a place of breathtaking scale and isolation. Sheer sandstone cliffs, burnt orange under the Kimberley sun, rise dramatically around the deep gorge where the twin cascades plunge into the waters below. In the wet season, the falls thunder with raw power, while in the dry they thin into graceful ribbons of water, each season telling a new story of the land’s rhythms.
Standing before this ancient landscape, there’s a sense of timelessness — as though the cliffs themselves hold the memory of countless generations and the endless cycle of rain and river. This image captures both grandeur and solitude: a place carved by water, crowned by sky, and steeped in the spirit of the Kimberley.
