STORY
A veil of merino sheep drifted across the high country of Middlehurst, their movement guided by quiet instinct and the calls of distant dogs. Bathed in golden light, the flock shimmered like a river flowing through the rugged land. Even the wild horses paused, as if spellbound by the rhythm unfolding before them.
This moment felt timeless. It echoed my own childhood on a sheep farm, where the simple act of moving stock carried with it a sense of belonging, patience, and connection. Here in the mountains, that memory was transformed — woven into a scene where light, land, animals, and memory converged.
“Mountain Veil” is a meditation on harmony — between people, animals, and the landscapes that shape us.
